actually i was intending on msging you after olevels with my A1 chem…but sadly i did not get that A1 😞😞

i just wanted to let you know that you really made a huge impact on my academic journey, even though it may not have seemed much to you at that time but your words really stuck with me throughout, my olevel result really affected me quite abit…but nevertheless i was able to pull myself back up again, & i did quite okay for chem this year!!! your encouragement back then really pushed me through all the academic lows i face even till now & i make sure that i dont give up no matter what result sets me back, & it has really made me put in my 100% effort in my studies!!! AND truly you did spark my love for chemistry, ill be strongly considering taking on chem in uni as well :) i think a teacher who is able to encourage especially during the lows is hard to come by, which is why im super thankful to have had you teach our class even if it was just for awhile! as someone who’s very easily discouraged & who doesn’t really have confidence esp in academics, i really think that your encouragement helped me ALOTT & i will be striving harder this year for ALEVELS 🤞🤞

(sorry if this was really random, i just know today is olevel result day for this batch & got reminded of my olevel collection HAHA)

Hi Mr Loh!! Thanks for being our form teacher and chem teacher!! Although its only been a term since you taught our class, we appreciate you!! […] Thank you for your hard work in arranging after school SSLs for us, it really helped my chem grades from 6/20 (I guessed 3 of the ans so technically 3/20) to A2 !! Happy Teachers’ Day !!

hi mr loh happy teachers day!! 😭 sorry for slacking in chem in the first sem (maybe even right now) but !!!! make sure i study hard & listen in class & get A1 for chem so your efforts arent wasted!! thank you for always putting in so much effort into our classes through notes, SSL, or just general classtime :) […] we’re all vv grateful that you continue to believe in us & encourage us to continue persevering :) chem is vvv difficult but i think ur notes & SSL & classes etc really helped me understand >< thank you for being a great teacher & i promise to work hard & get A1/A2 for EOY!!!

[…] I think you were also a reason why i kinda ‘woke up’ and finally decided that being distracted in class was only going to drag me further and further behind. So now im determined to pay attention in class and answer your questions :) […] js don’t give up. WE RLLY NEED you. I appreciate that you don’t completely give up on our class and still see the hope in us. You are very caring and im so grateful for that :) So to all the future lessons & memories we will make, I wish you the Happiest Teachers Day.
